CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES (CVD)

Cardio vascular diseases are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels and include coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, rheumatic heart disease and other conditions.

Cardiovascular disease causes 1 in 4 deaths, and is a leading cause of morbidity, disability and health inequalities. The Covid-19 pandemic has added to the urgency of tackling CVD because CVD significantly increases the risk of severe disease and death from Covid-19.

The most important behavioural risk factors of heart disease and stroke are unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, tobacco use and harmful use of alcohol.

The common symptoms of heart disease include chest pain or angina, breathlessness, and heart palpitation, dizziness, profuse sweating, nausea and vomiting. The signs of a heart attack are similar to angina but they can also occur during rest and tend to be more severe. Some heart conditions do not present with any symptoms at all, especially in older adults and individuals with diabetes.

Some heart diseases, such as congenital and genetic conditions may not be preventable but other types can be prevented by taking the proper homeopathic treatment and cessation of tobacco use, reduction of salt in the diet, eating more fruit and vegetables, regular physical activity and avoiding harmful use of alcohol have been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and manage other health conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes as they eventually affect the heart.

Homoeopathic medicine Digitalis, Auram met, Crataegus, Naja, nux vomica Strophanthus , etc helps to slow down the Atherosclerotic process, lower the blood cholesterol to manage the emotional stress.
